• CrossFit (WOD Class):

This is our primary class and what CrossFit Dexter was built on. CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual.

“CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program. We have designed our program to elicit as broad an adaptational response as possible. CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains. They are Cardiovascular and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.”

  • CrossFit Lite:

Enjoy all of the same great benefits of CrossFit’s high intensity constantly varied functional training without the Olympic movements. This is a less technical version of CrossFit for the person looking for a great workout. Foundations are not required to begin these classes.

    WOD and Lift:

This class utilizes CrossFit’s training methodology that you will see in our CrossFit WOD Class. The difference is, the workouts are short and intense, and then there is always a strength development portion.

    Fossil Fitness:

This class is geared for people 60 years and older. This CrossFit class focuses on quality movement, weight bearing exercise, balance, and mobility. We keep these classes small in order to provide the service needed for all individuals in this class.

  • Olympic Weightlifting and Strength:

This class is designed to work and the skill and technique of the Olympic lifts as well as to develop our overall strength. This is a great complement to our regular WOD class.

The purpose of this class is to develop gymnastics skills that are related and applicable to CrossFit while improving core balance, strength and body tightness that apply to overall fitness and health. The class will have a wide spectrum of gymnastics movements/techniques that will aid in the development of Handstands, HS Pushups, HS walk, Muscle Ups (Rings/Bar), Dip Strength, Rope Climb, etc. All levels are welcomed!

    Open Gym:

Athletes can use this time to catch up on some strength work, work on new skills, complete the WOD, and do as they choose within the limits of the gym.
