Meet Ashley Nicole….

Ashley started CrossFit in October of 2016 and it’s safe to say she’s hooked!  This fierce and determined CrossFitter is so fun to watch grow.

What do you remember about your first workout?  The very first thing we did (aside from the warm-up that felt like a workout itself) was pistol squats.  I couldn’t move for days.

What are your favorite movements?  It seems to change all of the time, but spit-jerks are the flavor of the week.  🙂

Advice for new members?  Focus on YOU and what you are doing.  Just try to be a better you.

What keeps you coming back to CrossFit Dexter?  I love feeling strong.  But on the days I’m not really feeling it…I come for the people 🙂

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again.  The community at CrossFit Dexter is what makes us who we are. Everyone is so encouraging.  The things you think you can’t do, you end up doing eventually.  The crap days you have at work end up being good days because you made it to CFD to workout and laugh.  You make friends with people who have similar interests and lifestyles, who lift you and support you, you share recipes, you have euchre nights, your kids become friends AND you build a life that just FEELS GOOD.
