Meet a Member Monday…

Meet Rylee Kim….she started CrossFit in the winter of 2015 and has been doing CrossFit on and off while participating in high school sports.

What do you remember about your first workout? “I felt embarrassed, I didn’t know how to use the rower!”

What are your favorite movements? Burpees, box jumps and body weight movements.  Rylee also has a PR of 145 lbs for her back squat!

Advice for new members? “Don’t be intimidated by the members, we’ll be more than happy to help you!  Also, come workout — even when you are sore.”  Sometimes, just moving helps our bodies recover from muscle soreness, but it is important to listen to your body and know when a rest day is needed too!

What keeps you coming back to CrossFit Dexter?  “The community vibe, the opportunity to prove something to yourself and to get big, hehe.”  Rylee, we LOVE your answers!  You are inspiring young women everywhere, keep it up!
